Every person’s journey is a little different, therefore it’s best to speak individually with a yoga teacher on which styles will support your specific needs for recommendations and referrals. For beginners it’s expected that they will be using muscles they are not used to using and for familiarity to ground in after a few classes. (Beginners may experience muscle fatigue following their first class. This can be due to a number of factors such as utilizing areas of the body which may not normally receive that much activity. In other words, you may be sore. It may take a few classes to integrate the movements more easily.)
